Hi! My name is Sergio Granizo, knowed as Beer Gamer on Instagram. I started painting miniatures very young when my fathers gifted Heroquest and Battlemasters on Christmas! My uncle was a huge warhammer fan and it was thanks to him that I started to love it. Later I bought the 3rd edition of Warhammer 40,000 and fantasy, I fell in love with space marines, orcs, and elves. 🙂
So… I was young and my money was scarce and I prioritized other types of investments (XD). I stopped painting miniatures until 2014 when we created a group to play role-playing games and I picked up the brushes again for painting monsters and heroes. On 2016 I started a new job and several colleagues were warhammer players and they made me come back during the 8th edition of Warhammer 40k and it was the moment that I start to improve my painting skills.
In 2017 I went to my first painting course with Arnau Lázaro and Alejandro Prieto and my mind exploded. It even changed my way of holding the brush (haha!) and I went from coloring thumbnails to looking for the artist in me. It was not the only course because I went to a few more improving my skills. I was/am a fast painter, but thanks to the courses the quality of my work has improved remarkably in recent years.
From then on, I started giving my own introductory courses and taking on assignments until I became who I am today.
